Victorian elegance with
modern luxury.
Robert and Alistair have created a unique style and design which reflects their personalities and interests. In addition to restoring original features, unique pieces of upcycled furniture were brought in to add colour and personality to the rooms.

A hotel with a touch of Magic.
The hotel features Harry Potter art work by Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, who created the graphic universe of the entire Harry Potter film series. In the library all the pictures feature school text books and we have copies of various Wizard newspapers such as The Daily Prophet and Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes.
There are also some magic-themed touches scattered around, a straw broom, an ink well and feather quill, but the aim is not to be a Harry Potter themed venue, rather to add a unique point of interest.
The Observer newspaper named The Bay Tree hotel as one of the best hotel picks in the country.
The newspaper highlighted the hotel’s "detached 1896 red-brick house…..repurposed antiques and pleasing paint shades.” naming the Bay Tree Hotel as one of its ‘innovative' five of the best hotels in the country.

The Bay Tree Hotel Rooms
The bedrooms are named after British trees, reflecting the hotel’s namesake Bay tree which is thought to be the oldest and largest in Kent. It stands at the rear of the property. There are ten en-suite bedrooms, eight of which have sea views, and one room is accessible to wheelchair users, with a wet room and ground floor access, the hotel is also dog-friendly.
