“We ate here on a Sunday evening, having booked well in advance and found ourselves the only diners (presume the good weather kept everyone outside!).
Our arrival seemed to surprise the owners, who were very friendly and we had almost a private dining experience, with useful conversations about each dish prior to ordering.
The bay tree offers both a fixed price Sunday lunch menu (lunch and dinner) and an a la carte menu; many dishes are on both.
A selection of white and brown bread was provided together with normal and a marmite based butter (awesome!)”

“ This hotel is just perfect, all the rooms are beautifully decorated since the refurbishment, we tried the dinner menu and the food was delicious. We also tried the afternoon tea, great value for money. Alistair and Robert are excellent hosts, very welcoming and Ben is a sweetie! We are looking forward to returning in July. Well done chaps! ”
